STARTING MARCH 23RD, WE WILL BE CONDUCTING TELEHEALTH VISITS FOR SOME APPOINTMENTS SUCH AS MEDICATION FOLLOW UPS, CONSULTS, RASHES... PLEASE ASK FOR THIS TYPE OF APPOINTMENT, IF INTERESTED, TO ALLOW YOUR FAMILY TO STAY AT HOME. THESE APPOINTMENTS WILL BE CASE BY CASE FOR NOW, BUT WE EXPECT TO BE ABLE TO CONDUCT MORE AS WE BECOME MORE ADEPT AT USING OUR SYSTEM.
PLEASE NOTE: THESE VISITS WILL BE SUBMITTED THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE AND TAKE THE PLACE OF AN IN-PERSON OFFICE VISIT. THERE MAY BE COPAYS AS DETERMINED BY YOUR PLAN.
Ogden Pediatrics is dedicated to preserving every family’s health that we care for, including our own.
In an effort to decrease transmission to those at high risk, including some our patient population, we thank you in advance, for your understanding as we make changes in office scheduling to maintain the health and safety of your family and ours.
Effective Monday, March 16th, we will be seeing well visits, consults and follow up appointments from 8:30-2:30. Our office will be calling to ask if your child has any symptoms of illness prior to those appointments. If they are symptomatic, we may ask you to reschedule the appointment or be seen later in the day for a sick appointment.
We will be asking those with minor illnesses to stay at home and treat the symptoms.
IF YOU THINK YOU OR YOUR CHILD HAS SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE FOR ASSISTANCE ON WHERE TO BE EVALUATED/TESTED, IF WARRANTED.
IN ORDER TO LIMIT PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE AT ONE TIME, WE ARE REQUESTING 1 CAREGIVER AND 1 CHILD TO EACH APPOINTMENT. LEAVE OTHER CHILDREN, FAMILY MEMBERS AT HOME
After 3, we will see sick patients only. This will allow us to provide the safest environment and decrease the possibility of exposure or spread of COVID-19 disease as much as we are able.
DO NOT walk in without calling our office first to be screened, you will be sent back outside to call to be screened. DO NOT COME TO A WELL CHILD APPOINTMENT IF YOU OR YOUR CHILD IS SICK. Call the office first.
Our staff will be wearing masks to decrease risk of illness to ourselves, but also to your families, so please talk to your child about this prior to arrival.
We will available to answer your questions about COVID-19, but if you have general questions and not concerned that you or your child has an exposure or illness related to this, please go the Monroe County Department of Health and/or CDC website that will give you information about the disease.
